Position: General Labor
Team members are responsible for a variety of operations on springs and wire forms including Looping, Bending, Trimming, Pressing, Punching and Hand Coiling. They have the responsibility to ensure that the product is 100% correct.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
- Verify quality of parts being produced.
- Produce order to allow for on-time delivery.
- Advise Team Leaders of problems related to quality and/or delivery.
- Maintain a clean and safe work site.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Operate load scales.
- Read dial calipers, micrometers, protractors, and blueprints.
Skills Required
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Move drums & boxes up to 300 lbs. using a lift or dolly.
- Stand for up to 8 hrs./day.
- Strong mechanical and math skills.
